We are looking to hire a skilled and passionate full time Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our lovable crew here at ATB! Across the Board Game Cafe is a full service restaurant and cafe with an extensive board game library of over 1700 games. We boast happy customers who visit us looking to connect with their loved ones, try new things, and have FUN! Our kitchen is an essential part of providing a memorable and unique dining experience. Job description includes:

- Supervise daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating

- Hire, train, manage, and schedule kitchen staff, promoting teamwork, skill development, and adherence to safety protocols.

- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.

- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless food service and timely delivery of orders.

- Develop innovative menus that suit the cafes unique needs while maintaining operational feasibility.

- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize profitability.

- Maintain a clean,



organized kitchen environment aligned with industry standards and best practices.

- Evenings and weekends as necessary

Qualities we'd love to see:

- Proven supervising and cooking experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development.

- Team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse staff members.

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.

- Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on fostering a collaborative work workplace.

- Knows and loves ATB and our mission to foster connection and play through board games!

Pay starting at $43,000. Benefits include free food, health insurance (after probationary period), and a warm, welcoming work environment!
