Job Posting: Part-time Security Guard, Blackville, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI; Division is looking to hire responsible team members for security guard roles in Blackville, New Brunswick.

Hours: 8-to-12-hour rotating shifts, 24/7, with day, evening, night and weekend availability, sometimes on short notice

Rate of Pay: $22.32 per hour

The Role: The Security Guard will fill vacant shifts where needed and will be responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information. Assigned duties include a combination of static and roving patrols.

We are seeking candidates with:

- Physical fitness to perform interior rounds (including stairs) - may also require standing and or sitting for extended periods of time
- Strong communication and dispute resolution skills
- A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks
- Customer service experience
- Valid class 5 Driver’s License




- Able to acquire and maintain all necessary Security Clearances

The successful candidate must be able to:

- Maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations
- Respond and help in emergency situations
- Complete all online and in-person training requirements
- Wear steel toe footwear

Bilingualism (French/English) and Designated Veteran Status are both assets but not requirements.
