Position Overview

We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with children and families and values a collaborative, team-based approach to care.This role involves providing individualized, evidence-informed occupational therapy services to children and adolescents while working collaboratively with families and other members of the multidisciplinary team. We offer in home, in the community, and *COMING SOON* In clinic options for appointments.As a small and growing clinic, all team members also share responsibility for maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming therapy spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

- Assess children and adolescents (0–18 years) experiencing challenges that impact participation and independence in everyday activities
- Develop and implement individualized, functional, goal-oriented occupational therapy intervention plans
- Provide intervention addressing areas such as fine motor and visual-motor skills, sensory processing and regulation,



self-care and daily living skills, school participation, play, and other functional areas within occupational therapy scope of practice
- Provide parent and caregiver education, strategies, and home programming
- Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, assessments, and reports in a timely manner
- Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, families, educators, and other professionals as appropriate
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to care as needed
- Maintain qualified practice in accordance with applicable occupational therapy standards and requirements

Clinic & Team Responsibilities

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe therapy spaces during and after sessions
- Assist with light cleaning tasks, including wiping toys and therapy materials, tidying treatment areas, and returning equipment to storage
- Support a positive clinic culture rooted in teamwork, communication, and shared responsibility
- Adhere to clinic policies, privacy requirements, and professional standards

Qualifications and Requirements

- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent entry-to-practice occupational therapy qualification




- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Alberta (COTA)
- Professional liability insurance
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check
- Valid drivers license with consistent access to reliable vehicle, with applicable vehicle insurance
- Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates with strong pediatric placement or relevant experience are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
- Interest in working in a growing private pediatric practice

Position Details

- Contract (fee-split) or employee arrangement available
- Flexible scheduling
- Weekday, evening, and/or weekend availability considered an asset
- Competitive compensation based on experience and employment model selected

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.0 per week
