Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to enhance their dining experience
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and ensuring food safety standards are met
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations and dining spaces
- Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, serving, and sanitation practices
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Qualifications
- Prior food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is highly desirable
