We are looking for an experienced optician or optometric dispenser who is passionate about eyecare and eyewear to join our team.

We are an independent optometry clinic looking to expand our team with the right optician/optometric dispenser who is full of energy, kindness, and enthusiasm. We are looking for someone who has a passion for detail-oriented work, is great with computers, multi-tasking and making people feel welcome! Having a love for style and current fashion trends would also be great and an obsession with eyewear and sunglasses wouldn't hurt as well.

Job Details:

- Saturday availability, full-time





- Assisting patients with frame styling and lens selection.

- Spectacle measurements, fitting and dispensing.

- Frame adjustments and minor repairs.

- Direct insurance billing, answering phones, appointment booking, completing pre-liminary eye exam testing.

Required Skills:

- Robust verbal and written communication skills

- Outgoing, positive and team approach personality that enjoys conversing with others.

- Must possess strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and is good with time management.

- Must possess strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new programs and instruments.

- Prefer previous optometry office, optical experience.

- Prefer previous retail or customer service experience.

- Prefer previous experience with extended insurance submissions

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
