Overview:

Pro-King Construction is a commercial construction company with a focus on restaurant

and retail locations within western Canada and Ontario. Driven by a passionate leadership

team, and clients base spanning over 15+ years. We are looking for a Working Site

Supervisor to champion our site progress, means and methods, with a particular focus on

finishing projects on time. Our ideal candidate is able to travel across Alberta to job sites,

and be based in the Calgary area. They also would have a background in commercial

construction, have working knowledge of the construction process, be able to follow and

give direction to various trades, and have a keen sense to learn.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide leadership to the crew, reading drawings and executing work in coordination with

our Project Management. Perform a comprehensive set of physical labouring tasks but

capable across all areas and aspects of the project, demonstrating your construction skills

with an aptitude, working with tools and materials, while providing guidance to other

people trades. Ability to travel to Alberta site locations and remain there for the duration of

the project is a must.

Additional Responsibilities:

End each day by spending the last part of your work shift on routine cleaning of the site,

writing a brief report and photos.

Required Education:

No degree, certificate or diploma required.

Job Requirements:

3 years related experience minimum – open to higher levels of experience into senior

levels.

2 years experience in a leadership role.

Construction labour abilities from a generalist perspective

Excellent English oral communication skills is a must

On the road job - Vehicle Required - Work locations will vary. Frequent or constant travel is

required from the employee.

Basic safety wear and weather-appropriate gear including steel toe boots, hard hat, gloves,

Able to read and interpret blueprint drawings, specifications & other construction

documents

Skilled at leading a group's efforts and supervising various trades and employees

Communicating well with a thoughtful and positive respectful demeanour

Reliable

Effective interpersonal skills, Values and ethics, Organized, Excellent oral communication,

Technologically Capable.

Works cooperatively and productively within a team

Remuneration:

Competitive Salary based on experience

Mileage compensated
