We are currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Operator for a full-time Temp-to-Perm position in Vaughan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and organizing materials, operating forklifts, maintaining inventory records, and supporting warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position, as successful candidates may be hired directly onto the company payroll with benefits.

Responsibilities

- Receive incoming materials and accurately enter items into the computer/ERP system.
- Operate Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, and Walkie forklifts safely.
- Move, organize, and store materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper material flow.
- Assist with coordinating Pickers and Material Handlers when required.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Follow food safety and contamination-avoidance procedures.
- Ensure materials are stored and handled properly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications





- Valid forklift certification/license for Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, and/or Walkie.
- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience.
- Good computer skills and experience using ERP/inventory management systems.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to accurately receive and process materials in the system.
- Ability to coordinate and support other warehouse employees.
- Food industry experience is an asset, particularly knowledge of FIFO and contamination prevention.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
