Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional Weekends & OT)

Role Summary

Ready Machinery & Equipment (Canada) Inc. is a trusted industry leader known for its expertise in heavy machinery moving, rigging, transport support, storage, and industrial equipment installation, delivering safe, reliable, and turnkey solutions to clients across Canada. We are seeking an experienced Rigger to join our machinery installation and relocation crews at our Milton location. The role is primarily focused on rigging, machinery moving, equipment loading/unloading, flatbed support, and hands-on industrial moving projects as part of a team. The ideal candidate has rigging experience, heavy equipment handling experience, and a strong willingness to support safe and efficient project work.

Key Responsibilities

Rigging & Machinery Support

- Work as part of machinery installation and relocation crews to rig, move, stage, load, unload, and install heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
- Use rigging tools, hardware, equipment, and installation tools safely and effectively on job sites.
- Assist crew members in completing daily work safely, efficiently, and professionally.
- Perform heavy lifting, manual work, bending, crouching, reaching, and handling of materials and tools as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company procedures and customer site requirements.
- Assist with securing, strapping, and preparing equipment or machinery on flatbeds and open trailers for safe movement.

Team & Site Coordination

- Establish positive working relationships with crew members and primary contacts at each account.
- Maintain excellent punctuality, attendance, and reliability in meeting job timelines.
- Communicate clearly with team leads, customers, and crew members regarding task progress and site needs.
- Additional duties as assigned.





What You Bring

Required:

- Heavy equipment handling, open trailer/flatbed securement, and/or rigging experience.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in meeting deadlines.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, manual work, and proficient use of installation tools as required.
- Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and to read and understand English.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to grow with a strong team.

Preferred:

- Forklift experience is an asset — training is available for the right candidate.
- Previous machinery moving, industrial relocation, construction, millwright, or skilled trades experience is considered an asset.

Physical Demands

This role frequently requires bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling tools, lifting materials, and performing physically demanding manual work in a safe and controlled manner.
