We are looking for a friendly, experienced part-time Server/Bartender to join our team at Diba Persian Restaurant. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Previous restaurant serving experience is required. You must be able to multitask, work quickly and efficiently, and provide warm, attentive customer service. Familiarity with Persian food and the ability to speak Farsi are considered strong assets, but are not required.

This position includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, preparing basic drinks, processing payments, keeping the dining area clean and organized, and helping create a welcoming experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and promote specials or menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.




- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours through effective time management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant or bar environment.

Skills

- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly by verifying IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
- Familiarity with the food service industry’s standards for hospitality excellence.
