Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a courteous and skilled manner
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are correctly priced and stocked
- Provide product demos or explanations when needed to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences
- Address customer inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick checkout processes without sacrificing accuracy
- Follow company policies on cash handling, security procedures, and POS system usage to prevent discrepancies

Qualifications

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially with technical products or merchandising
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and giving correct change
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales operations
- Ability to perform basic product demonstrations and upselling techniques confidently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels
- Customer service-oriented mindset with friendly phone etiquette and positive attitude
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Multilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve a diverse clientele
