Job Overview

We are a family owned and operated company looking for a reliable residential garage door technician to join our growing team! Subcontractor position with part time or full-time hours available on weekdays, or potentially evenings/weekends to fit your schedule.

You will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing residential garage doors and operators, while adhering to proper PPE and safety standards. You will communicate directly with customers while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service.

Work Experience:

- 3+ years repairing and installing residential overhead garage doors and operators
- Light carpentry including minor framing and shimming

Education: High school diploma

Requirements:

- Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and job site cleanliness
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment




- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable working in customer homes and communicating professionally with customers
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs and comfortable with ladders, bending, kneeling and active field work
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures
- Your own truck and power tools
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- WCB and liability insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal record check

Assets:

- Experience installing Amarr, Garaga, Richards-Wilcox, and LiftMaster products
- Comfortable hauling a 12ft trailer

Pay: $55.00 per hour
