The Opportunity

W*e are currently looking for an experienced and safety-focused Class 1 LCV Highway Driver* to join our transportation team.

This position operates primarily on the Calgary–Edmonton corridor and is ideal for an experienced professional who is comfortable with highway operations, LCV equipment, and working independently.

We are looking for a reliable driver with a strong safety record, professional attitude, and commitment to providing dependable and timely service.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate LCV combinations safely and efficiently on assigned highway routes.
- Complete scheduled runs between Calgary and Edmonton.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment or safety concerns.
- Ensure freight is transported safely, securely, and on schedule.
- Complete all required trip, delivery, pick-up, and compliance documentation accurately.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, and operational concerns.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, company policies, and Hours of Service requirements.
- Maintain qualified and courteous communication with customers, dispatch,



and other team members.
- Safely operate manual transmission trucks when required.
- Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Valid Alberta Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
- LCV experience and certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of Class 1 commercial driving experience.
- Must provide a current 3-year Commercial Driver Abstract, issued within the last 30 days.
- Clean and acceptable driving record.
- Must be comfortable operating manual transmission trucks.
- Strong understanding of highway driving and safe commercial vehicle operation.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to identify and report hazards or equipment concerns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transportation environment.
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude.

Compensation & Benefits

- $0.57 – $0.62 per mile, based on experience and qualifications.
