We are a litigation boutique based in Richmond Hill. Our practice focuses on commercial disputes, shareholder remedies, and civil litigation. We run a lean and thriving firm where students work directly with senior counsel and gain exposure to complex files.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct targeted legal research;
- Assemble motion records, application records, and alike;
- Navigate Ontario’s Justice Services portal for electronic filings and manage file timelines in compliance with court practice directions;
- Draft pleadings, motion materials, and factums in alignment with the Rules of Civil Procedure under supervision; and
- Assist counsel with lending files, commercial transactions, contract reviews, and corporate documentation,



providing versatile support across the firm’s broader commercial practice.

Qualifications

- Designed for candidates currently completing or holding a Juris Doctor degree, on track for licensing with the Law Society of Ontario;
- Sharp legal reasoning, clear communication, and the capacity to operate decisively in a quick-moving practice;
- Past experience required; and
- Professional fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.

Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year
