Shipper and Receiver – Afternoon Shift

Tirecraft Ontario a proudly Canadian owned and operated expert in tires and automotive services. We’re seeking a dynamic Shipper/Receiver to join our team and help us maintain efficient logistics. You will support our Distribution Centre team as a Shipper and Receiver, on the afternoon shift - Sunday to Thursday from 5:00PM to 1:00AM. We are growing and this is a fantastic prospect to join a team of people enthusiastic about the industry. This is an hourly position with wages ranging from $20.00-$22.00 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

- Receive daily product shipments and capable of reconciling and ensuring accuracy of paperwork.
- Track and Record shipment discrepancies.
- Organize and disperse materials and shipments into respective storage.
- Load and unload tires and wheels from deliveries.
- Prepare daily shipments and orders, send on company trucks.
- Cycle counts.
- Deliveries as needed.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
- Valid truck clamps, forklifts, and high lift picker license preferred, will train as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Organized and keen attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable about industrial tires
- Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting (50+ pounds)
