Responsibilities

- Prepare and cut meat products according to safety standards and customer preferences, ensuring precise portioning and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist customers with selecting meat products, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent service
- Package meat items securely for retail display or take-home use, ensuring freshness and proper labeling
- Restock shelves with fresh meat products, monitor inventory levels,



and rotate stock to prevent spoilage
- Follow all food handling regulations to prevent contamination and ensure product quality
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales goals and uphold store standards

Skills

- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle food products safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with packaging methods suitable for retail meat products
- Kitchen experience or previous work in food handling is highly desirable
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
