We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Payroll/HR Representative to join our People team in Langley, BC.

This temporary position is expected to last 18 months.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Retail Payroll , you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team specifically in regards to retail payroll and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

- Administering weekly payroll and HR data for team members across a group of stores under multiple Collective Agreements, including processing weekly pay information, hires, terminations, transfers, and job changes.
- Administering team member benefits including enrolments, changes, and cancellations.
- Responding to inquiries from store payroll clerks, store managers, and team members regarding payroll and advantages matters.
- Reviewing and preparing payment information for various annual payouts.
- Merging and sending out documents using MS Word and Email.
- Maintaining team member data in Workday.
- Performing other duties as required.

You have:





- 1-3 years of office administration experience and a background in payroll and benefits is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- An understanding of Employment Standards legislation and Collective Agreements.
- Previous experience with store-level payroll is considered an asset.
- Experience using Workday is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:

$54,909.00 - $68,636.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
