Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Shingler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal. This role requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all roofing projects are completed to the highest standards. A strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

- Install shingles on roofs according to specifications and blueprints.
- Repair or replace damaged roofing materials as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting and carry materials to job sites safely.
- Ensure proper caulking and sealing of roof edges and joints to prevent leaks.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Experience

- Proven experience in roofing or as a maintenance person is preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading to understand project specifications.
- Experience with carpentry skills is a plus, particularly in building structures related to roofing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
