Indo Designer Rugs is growing, and we’re looking for great people to join our team.

We’re a locally owned business that has been part of Calgary’s design community since 1988. Our showroom is filled with designer handmade rugs and every day we work with homeowners, interior designers, architects and people who simply love beautiful interiors.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for people who enjoy working with customers, have an interest in design, and want to be part of a small, hands-on team.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re interested in meeting people with backgrounds or interests in:

- Retail sales and customer service
- Interior design and home décor
- Social media and marketing
- Showroom merchandising
- Inventory and day-to-day showroom operations

Experience in rugs is definitely not required. We can teach you about the different materials, weaving techniques, styles and collections.

What matters most to us is that you are friendly, dependable, comfortable speaking with customers and willing to learn. Driver's license is mandatory.

What It’s Like Working at Indo Designer Rugs

Working in our showroom is a little different from working in a typical retail store.

One day you might be helping a client choose the right rug for their living room. The next,



you could be assisting an interior designer with a project, preparing new arrivals for the showroom, helping with photography or learning about handmade rugs that have taken months to create.

It’s a creative setting where no two days are exactly the same.

Because we’re a small local business, everyone plays an important role. We value people who take initiative, communicate well and enjoy being part of a team.
