Advanced Home Care Solutions Inc. (AHCS), part of the Advanced Care Group of Companies, provides staffed residential support to adults with diverse abilities. We're a Canadian, RN-led healthcare organization committed to safe, respectful, person-centred care. We're looking for Registered Care Aides to join our residential team.

About the Role

You'll provide direct daily support to individuals with diverse abilities living in a staffed residential home, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity. This is hands-on, relationship-based work in a home environment — not a clinical setting.

What You'll Do

- Assist residents with personal care, daily living activities, and medication support per care plans
- Support residents' individual support plans (ISPs), routines, and goals
- Provide behavioral support and de-escalation as needed
- Complete daily documentation (care notes, incident reports, MAR)
- Communicate with the House Manager and care team on resident status and concerns
- Support community engagement, appointments, and daily activities
- Follow all health, safety, and emergency response protocols

Requirements





- Completion of a recognized Care Aide / Health Care Assistant training program (required)
- Prior hands-on experience supporting individuals with diverse abilities (developmental/intellectual disabilities) in a residential or staffed-home setting — required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Clean Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector)
- Valid driver's license considered an asset
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including shift work
