Position Summary

Our Sage Intacct Construction Consultant will lead and participate in planning, configuring, and managing all phases of Sage Intacct ERP implementations tailored to our construction sector clients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead industry-specific discovery calls alongside account managers to understand client workflows, project accounting needs, and operational pain points.
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis and design custom software solutions tailored to construction workflows (e.g., job costing, progress billing, and subcontracts).
- Provide initial setup and advanced configuration of the Sage Intacct ERP system and Construction modules to meet specific business rules and reporting structures.
- Guide and assist customers with data migration from legacy accounting software, ensuring data integrity for vendors, jobs, and historical financials.




- Deliver comprehensive knowledge transfer and software training sessions tailored to construction project managers, controllers, and accounting teams.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues while building and maintaining highly positive, long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with internal Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment on client expectations.
- Maintain timely and accurate data entry in internal BAASS project management and time-tracking systems.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

- 2+ years of relevant experience implementing or administering ERP systems, preferably with a focus on Sage Intacct, Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (CRE), or similar construction ERPs (recent graduates with strong construction accounting exposure will also be considered).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- Strong understanding of construction financial concepts, such as job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, retainage, and AIA billing.
- Proven experience configuring systems, mapping data, managing user access, and providing high-quality software technical support.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a clear track record of diagnosing software and workflow issues efficiently.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to confidently present technical solutions to both corporate executives and field operations teams.
- Ability to perform and document detailed analysis of the end-user’s business processes and routine.
- Solid written and verbal communication, in both English and French.
- Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Strong organizational skills
