Maintenance Technician - Stoney Creek, ON
Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in precision components and sub-assemblies for industries such as aerospace, aviation, defense, medical, and optics. With a reputation for quality and innovation, they provide critical solutions to high-stakes sectors. Their facility is equipped with advanced machinery, and they prioritize safety, efficiency, and collaboration in their operations.
Our client is currently looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support their operations at their Stoney Creek shop.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and diagnose industrial machinery, including CNC Mills, Lathes, and EDM machines (e.g., DMG, GF, HAAS, Mori-Seiki, Okuma, Parpas).
- Escalate maintenance issues or challenges to the Shop Supervisor.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist in training junior staff or apprentices on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in industrial machinery.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure machinery is calibrated and operates within specified parameters.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery, preferably CNC equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment optimization.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and hazard identification.
- Able to lift heavy equipment components and work in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery such as CNC Mills, Lathes, and EDM machines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $36.00-$45.00 per hour
