Job Overview
We are seeking a responsible and caring Dog Walker to join our pet care team. This role involves providing reliable and friendly dog walking services to clients in the local community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and a dependable attitude to ensure pets are exercised and cared for properly. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on pet owners’ lives.

Duties

- Take up to 4 dogs at once on scheduled walks, ensuring they are exercised safely and appropriately
- Provide attentive care, including monitoring dogs’ behavior and health during walks
- Maintain a clean and protected walking environment for pets
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities and any concerns
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding individual pet needs or restrictions
- Keep track of walk times and any relevant notes about each pet’s condition or behavior
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during walks, adhering to safety protocols

Experience





- Prior experience working with animals or in a customer service role is preferred
- A genuine love for dogs and animals is essential
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are important for timely service delivery
- Ability to handle multiple clients and manage time efficiently
- Compassionate attitude with patience and attentiveness toward pets’ needs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 8.0 per week
