Duties:

Assist the faculty member with:
– Maintain regular contact with instructor;
– Assist with organizing of studio materials and arranging repertoire;
– Assist with research related to delivery of studio instruction;
– Assist with coaching and assessment of techniques as required;
– Assist students with performance practice, skill-building, technique development, and equipment in-between lessons;
– Other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

1. Considerable advanced skills and judgement.
2. Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively.
3. Ability to communicate clearly.
4. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, and self-motivated.
5. Basic math skills.

Education:
1. Preference given to current Brandon University Music student; with enrolment in graduate program or holding a graduate degree.
2.



Specific courses related to the given department/faculty in which the job in needed when indicated in the posting.
3. Strong academic standing.
