About the Role
As a Drywall Foreman, you will lead a crew of drywall installers, steel stud framers, and finishers while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You will serve as the key liaison between field crews and project management while helping drive productivity, safety, and project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor crews of 6–10 drywall professionals
- Coordinate daily site activities and workforce planning
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project drawings
- Ensure work is completed according to schedule and quality standards
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce all safety requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
- Monitor productivity and maintain project progress
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial drywall and steel stud framing experience
- 2+ years of supervisory or foreman experience
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Proven leadership and communication abilities
- Working at Heights Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- First Aid/CPR considered an asset
- Red Seal Certification considered an asset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to relocate to Nova Scotia
