Action Force transport is a growing business since its inception more than 20 years ago. The headquarters are located in Brampton Ontario, western terminal in Langley BC, central terminal in Calgary AB and eastern terminal in Montreal QC. The existing business is of long haul, LTL temperature controlled inter modal transportation from east to west coast in Canada.

Position Summary

The Dispatcher will be responsible for monitoring linehaul drivers, assisting with operational issues, maintaining communication throughout the shift, and ensuring freight continues moving safely and efficiently.

The role will also provide general administrative support and assist with Safety & Compliance-related tasks as required.

What You’ll Do

- Monitor linehaul drivers and freight movements throughout the night shift.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers and provide support as needed.
- Respond to delays, breakdowns, weather issues, delivery concerns, and other operational challenges.
- Provide drivers with trip information, instructions, and other required details.
- Monitor trip progress and update dispatch information and internal systems.
- Assist with general Safety & Compliance monitoring.
- Complete administrative work, reporting, filing, and driver documentation.




- Document and escalate significant operational or safety-related issues.
- Provide transparent updates and handover information to the daytime Operations team.
- Perform other transportation, dispatch, and administrative duties as required.

What You’ll Bring

- 2 years of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with transportation management systems
- General understanding of transportation operations and safety and compliance is considered an asset.
