We are an art and craft store that carries everything you need for your next project. We carry canvases, art kits, paint, brushes and more. We are looking for someone who might be already in this field or has a passion for it. It would be an asset to have knowledge in this area.

We are looking for someone who can help customers, answer phone calls, put out inventory and ring up sales.

Job Description :

- Working with the public instore
- Answering telephones
- Working on the computer
- Organizing inventory
- Pricing inventory
- Ordering inventory
- Social media
- Cleaning/tidying shelves
- Willing to work with others, as well as alone
- Dealing with cash/debit/credit
- Dealing with art and art supplies

Qualifications :

- Grade 12 graduate
- Cell phone/Home phone (verifiable phone #)
- Outgoing personality




- Comfortable speaking to customers
- Comfortable answering the telephone
- Must have basic computer skills
- Knowledge of art supplies would be an asset

We open Monday thru Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. We will never be open Sunday's or holiday's.​

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

- Nanaimo, BC V9S 1H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
