Position Overview

As a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse with Augury Healthcare, you will provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centred nursing care while supporting healthcare teams across Newfoundland and Labrador.

You will collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams while adapting to new clinical environments and maintaining professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

- Providing nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
- Completing patient and resident assessments
- Supporting individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments safely
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition
- Supporting activities of daily living and patient care needs
- Collaborating with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation




- Following facility policies, procedures, and infection prevention standards
- Providing safe, respectful, and compassionate care to patients and residents

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have:

- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration in Canada
- Active Newfoundland and Labrador LPN license or eligibility to obtain registration
- Recent experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach to care
- Ability and willingness to travel within Newfoundland and Labrador

Preferred qualifications:

- Acute care experience
- Long-Term Care or Continuing Care experience
- Rural or regional healthcare experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
