Tykem Electric Ltd. is currently seeking self-motivated, dedicated and reliable Journeyman Electricians to add to our team. Tykem is based in Olds, AB and works throughout Central Alberta.

The following qualifications are required:

- Have a vehicle to get to and from the shop complete with a clean driver’s abstract
- Journeyman Certificate valid in Alberta
- Troubleshooting and electrical SERVICE experience a MUST

The following skills are required:

- Agriculture, commercial, residential experience
- Strong communication skills. Must be comfortable talking to peers and customers on behalf of Tykem
- Thorough and pays close attention to detail re: troubleshooting, billing etc.
- Robust computer skills, specifically excel and email
- Work at heights
- Operate equipment such as skid steer, trencher, lifts etc.
- Knowledge of safe work practices
