Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with fuel purchases, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for upselling products, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with fuel purchases and other inquiries.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including fueling areas, convenience store, and restrooms.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Provide technical assistance to customers regarding fuel types or equipment as necessary.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.




- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions.
- Personal mode of transportation is an asset though not a requirement.
