Job SummaryAgilus is recruiting for a Maintenance Millwright in the food production industry in Concord, Ontario. The Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and optimization of all electrical, mechanical, and automation systems supporting production, packaging, and sanitation, ensuring safe, reliable equipment performance while maximizing asset life and supporting continuous improvement.This is a night shift - 9pm – 5:30am.Compensation and Benefits$35.00 - $40.00 hourly + night shift premiumVacation allotmentHealth & Dental benefits (after 3 months)A Typical DayInstall, maintain, repair production/packaging equipmentRead and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and code requirementsMaintain, troubleshoot, and program PLCs, frequency drives, and automation devicesPerform preventive maintenance and complete PM/work ordersInstall/calibrate instrumentation and field devicesService motors, generators, alternators,



and backup systemsConduct preventative maintenance and complete work orders promptlyDiagnose faults and take corrective actionMonitor equipment performance and take proactive steps to prevent breakdownsMaintain detailed logbook entries and communicate clearly with the teamQualificationsLicensed Millwright (Ontario) with strong electrical background/knowledge2+ years maintenance experience in food manufacturingAbility to work night shift – Monday to Friday – 9pm to 5:30amExperience with packaging, mixing, filling, or processing equipment used in food manufacturingKnowledge of food-grade lubricants and safe maintenance practices in wet/dry processing areasWelding skills, including MIG/TIG/Arc welding, cutting, grinding, and shaping metal (asset)Robust experience with industrial electrical systems and automationAbility to read/interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specificationsExperience with PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and control systemsExperience handling minor mechanical tasks (adjustments, part replacements, basic machine upkeep)Experience with switchgear, transformers, distribution panels, motors, and generatorsUnderstanding of GMP/HACCP and safe work practices (including lockout/tagout)Additional InformationThis posting is for an active opening.
