Mel's Pharmacy is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Craik, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

- Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in delivering quality patient care
- Greet customers and answer phone calls professionally
- Assist with prescription entry, labelling, packaging, and medication preparation under supervision
- Receive and stock medications and supplies, monitor inventory, and assist with audits
- Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy and properly dispose of expired medications
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, insurance claims, and prescription transfers
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations as needed

Qualifications

- Previous retail pharmacy experience is an asset
- Experience with Kroll and prescription data entry is an asset




- Pharmacy Assistant certification/training is an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift boxes
- Versatile availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required

Schedule

- Part-time, 28 hours per week
- Store hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Shifts are typically scheduled within these hours
