Role: Business Analyst with Wealth Management experience

Location: 155 Wellington St W, Toronto, ON M5V 3H6, Canada

Hybrid: (3 to 4 days office)

Lead functional analysis activities for Portfolio Management modernization initiatives.

Define future-state business capabilities and functional architecture.

Create:

- Functional Specifications
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)
- User Stories
- Use Cases
- Process Workflows
- Acceptance Criteria

Translate legacy ClientLink and Portfolio Management functionality into modern, modular, API-driven architectures.

Define:

- Business Rules
- Process Flows
- Data Flows
- System Interactions
- Integration Patterns

Conduct gap analysis between:

Participate in domain-driven design and business capability modeling workshops.

Lead analysis and design across key portfolio management functions including:

- Transaction Processing
- Performance Measurement and Attribution
- Asset Allocation
- Investment Reporting
- Client Reporting
- Corporate Actions
- Security Master & Instrument Management

Deep understanding of portfolio management functions such as asset allocation, portfolio position keeping, portfolio valuation, performance measurement, order management, and portfolio analysis is highly desirable.

Data Analysis & Reconciliation

Analyze and reconcile:

- Transactions
- Holdings
- Positions
- Cash Balances




- Market Values
- Performance Results

Validate business calculations and financial outputs.

Support data migration and modernization efforts.

Identify data quality issues and define remediation strategies.

Required Qualifications

Experience

10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.

5+ years supporting Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, or Investment Management platforms.

Proven experience on large-scale modernization or transformation programs.

Strong experience working with legacy-to-modern platform migrations.

Technical Skills

Advanced SQL and data analysis expertise.

Solid understanding of:

- Data Mapping
- System Integration
- APIs
- Batch Processing

Experience creating detailed functional and technical specifications.

Familiarity with cloud-native and microservices architectures.

Industry experience in Wealth Management and Asset Management domains, including portfolio management, performance measurement, reporting, and investment operations, is highly relevant for this role

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with ClientLink or similar Portfolio Management platforms.
- Experience with Charles River, Avaloq, Temenos TAP/T24, Aladdin, Eagle, SimCorp, or equivalent wealth platforms.





Knowledge of:

- Kafka
- Event Streaming
- Microservices
- API Gateways
- Experience supporting cloud modernization initiatives.

CFA, CIM, CSC, or equivalent investment industry certification is a plus

The pay rangeforthis role is CAD $100,000- $110,000 per annumincluding any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insuranceand paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience and location of the candidate. This job is open for contract as well with a pay range of CAD 55-60/hr (max.)
