This position in the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry involves joining a team of experts to provide consultation across acute, outpatient, and residential settings. You will leverage your clinical expertise to improve care quality and program development as part of an cutting-edge system across Vancouver Island. Opportunities also exist for expanding your practice and engaging in educational outreach.

Key Responsibilities:



• Deliver patient and family consultations in various care settings • Lead geriatric continuity of care initiatives • Participate in an 1 in 8 on-call rotation • Support teaching within undergraduate and postgraduate programs • Contribute to the development of the Dementia Strategy

Requirements: • Must be eligible for FRCPC in Geriatric Psychiatry • Full or provisional BC licensure is required • Previous fellowship training is advantageous • Strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration • Interest in First Nations service consultation
