Position Summary: This Teaching Assistant offers support for delivering an undergraduate in-person course by assisting with marking assignments and other related duties as assigned. MAP 101 is a 6-week course and student assignments will be ongoing and consistent during this time. Grading and deadlines will come up quickly.

Position Requirements

- Must be a registered M.F.A, MA, or 4th-year student at the University of Regina.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to mark student assignments, including essays. Familiarity with UR Courses, APA , MLA , Chicago Citation and Turnitin are assets.
- Preference will be given to senior undergraduate students or graduate students in MAP , Education, Arts, or students with related academic experience.

Physical Demands

Pay Grade: As Per CUPE 2419.

Salary Range: As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement.

Status: Term.

Work Hours: Hours are versatile and will be determined by the instructor in consultation with the successful candidate, up to 70 hours (a maximum of 1 hour per registered student) per section.

MAP 101-991 is scheduled for Tuesday evenings from in the fall 2026 semester.





The Final exam is scheduled in-person for Tuesday, December 15, 2026 from .

Additional hours must be approved by the instructor or Assoc. Dean-UG of MAP.

Course Modality: face to face delivery.
