The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient records, and ensuring accurate medication distribution. Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently Creating Risk Assessments For Compounds Manage medication inventory, including stocking, labeling, and organizing supplies Enter prescription data into electronic health records with precision Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under pharmacist supervision Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations Support medication administration processes as needed,
including preparation for inpatient or outpatient settings Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication delivery and patient safety Requirements
Prior experience as a compounding pharmacy technician is highly preferred Knowledge of NAPRA Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in prescription processing Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment Certification or registration as a pharmacy technician may be required depending on state regulations Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining high standards of safety and confidentiality Pay
