What you will be doing:Prepare and follow-up on invoices for clients including, but not limited to:Group billsTours and FIT’sAir/Rail CrewLCAH/Ovations/Res PlusTo ensure that billings are accurate and prepared on a timely basis.Attend pre-convention meetings and meet with clients on site for invoice review.Maintain AR and AR-related files in the Accounting office.Assist Credit Manager in follow up and collection of outstanding accounts.Punctually respond (within 8 hours) to inquiries of guests and staff and to comply with reasonable special requests.Ensure accurate application of payments to accounts.Ensure correct billing of inter-company transactions.Opening of posting masters and following up with Catering for method of payment.Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures contained in the Finance and Accounting Policy and Procedures Manual, Section 3.Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.Must be able to work individually and as part of a team in a safe, prudent and organized manner.Perform any other reasonable duty as required by the Credit Manager.Assist the finance leadership team with ad hoc projects and requestsConsistently offers skilled, engaging and friendly serviceEnsure a clean and safe working environment,



and actively participate in health and safety initiativesAdhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiativesCarry out any other tasks as assignedQualificationsAbility to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interestsAbility to handle complex and confidential information with discretionCollege degree in Business/Accounting or combination of experience and educationDiploma in Hospitality an assetExperience with PMS Opera CloudStrong Customer Service experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet knowledgeAdditional InformationThe salary range for this position is $60,960 - $68,580. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level.
