Marks is part of SGS & Co, a brand impact group built with agility and inventiveness, and our sister company, SGS, is an integrated packaging and market company.WHAT YOU’LL DOProject ManagementAttend client briefings and design presentations with the Account Lead to ensure positive client relations and act as an information source.Manage the budget with external partners and keep projects on track.Write work orders and brief projects into the studio.Prepare creative briefs to brief projects into studio.Manage timelines, track and report on project delivery, and update key stakeholders as needed.Handle circulation, follow up on all jobs out for approval, and process approvals in a timely fashion.Maintain a project status report and attend weekly status meetings as required.Act as the central liaison between onsite teams, marketing, and studio teams during project execution.Collaborate with Marks/SGS production managers to identify resources and requirements for upcoming projects.Be comfortable with 3D CGI requests as needed.Manage sales samples through sgsco’s printing facilities.Prepare jobs for billing and hand‑off to the Account Manager for final billing.Audit folder structure and archive projects upon completion.Production OversightReview and validate mandatory project information before kick‑off.Verify accuracy of design briefs and specifications received from the account team or client.Gather dielines, copy, packaging specs, and reference materials; place all documents within the assigned folder structure on the server.Procure all assets needed for production and provide flexible solutions to potential roadblocks.Use the project management tool to download client information, upload PDFs, and route with the client.Ensure accurate data is available for order entry: bill to, ship to, P.O. client specifications,
printer specifications, and other relevant information.Enter accurate data for all jobs into the current order entry system(s) and design briefs.Provide clear briefing to the creative team and external partners in a timely fashion in partnership with the Account Manager.Liaise between the creative team, external partners, and the account team to obtain missing information and materials.Attend art turnover meetings with Production Art/Prepress.Write revisions/feedback after consolidation by the account team or client.Maintain detailed and timely project notes in our project management platforms with all team members.Attend technical reviews of projects via pre‑pro or onboarding meetings, providing valuable insight into project processes and next steps.Ensure timely handover of digital files from Design to Production Art.Quality ControlProvide final rounds of QA on all assets – checking all design files to ensure work has met the client brief before release.Display unparalleled attention to detail prior to deployment, providing feedback efficiently.Participate in meetings to review completed packaging projects.Gather all dockets ready to bill.Reconcile bills of lading, expediting charges, and client alterations.Confirm information for PO#, Bill To, and Ship To assignments.Prepare jobs for final delivery once all deliverables are released.SKILLSCompletion of post‑secondary university or college degree, preferably in graphics/media communication management and/or design or a similar field.2–4 years proven experience in client service, preferably in a packaging environment.Strong understanding of Packaging Design requirements.Strong understanding of Flexo, Litho, and Gravure printing processes.Strong understanding of digital media is an asset.Experience with CGI process is an asset.Good understanding of adaptive media – an asset.Knowledge of Creative Cloud and other similar systems is an asset.Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
