About the job RQ08648 - Data Architect/Modeller - SeniorDescriptionResponsibilitiesDevelops and supports data architecture for prototype and program development in a complex and distributed environment, including the determination of the flow and distribution of data, the location of databases, and data access methodsProvides a standard common business vocabulary, expresses strategic data requirements, outlines high level integrated designs to meet these requirements, and aligns with the enterprise strategy and related business architectureCollaborates with diverse and complex stakeholders to ensure alignment of data architecture with enterprise goals and compliance requirementsSupport work coming out of OHDC recommendations related to establishing system-level data governance and stewardshipGeneral SkillsKnowledge and experience in information resource management tools and techniquesExperience with at least two different platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, languages, and communications protocolsKnowledge of performance considerations for different database designs in different environmentsExperience in structured methodologies for the design, development and implementation of applicationsExperience in systems analysis and design in large or medium systems environmentsStrong knowledge of data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and database technologiesExperience in the use of tools for the development and documentation of data architectures and detailed data modelsExperience in the use of data modelling methods and tools (e.G.
