Applicants must be located in BC or willing to move to BC.Job SummaryIndigenization Specialist provides expertise, support, and guidance in embedding an awareness of Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing into instruction and curriculum at Langara. Reporting to the Department Chair, Teaching & Curriculum Development Centre (TCDC), the Specialist works closely with academic departments, the Indigenous Education & Services department, and the Centre for Intercultural Engagement.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport departments and faculty to ethically engage with Indigenous pedagogies, knowledges, and decolonization practices.Develop Indigenized learning outcomes at the course and program level.Collaborate with Curriculum Consultants and EdTech Advisors to incorporate Indigenous ways of knowing when designing and assessing curriculum.Share and promote effective strategies for teaching, learning, and assessment across the College.Serve as an Indigenization resource for programs during curriculum review processes.Lead workshops and facilitate conversations on Indigenization and decolonization of curriculum.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree,
