This role combines clinical expertise, operational leadership, and strong community engagement. The Managing Pharmacist provides direct patient care, supervises staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains the high standards of service expected in a rural healthcare setting.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Patient CareProvide comprehensive dispensing services, clinical assessments, and medication reviews.Ensure accuracy in prescription processing, verification, and counselling.Deliver clinical services such as immunizations, adaptations, renewals, and minor ailment prescribing (where applicable).Support patients with chronic disease management, medication adherence, and health education.Build strong relationships with local prescribers.Leadership & Staff ManagementLead, mentor, and support pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment.Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of accuracy and professionalism.Oversee scheduling, task delegation, and workflow optimization.Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.Operational ManagementOversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high‑quality service and profitability.Manage inventory control, including ordering, narcotic reconciliation, expiry management, and minimizing wastage.Ensure proper handling of blister packs, compliance packaging, and long‑term care services.Monitor and manage third‑party billing, audits, and claims resolution.Maintain pharmacy equipment, technology, and software systems.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure full compliance with provincial and federal pharmacy regulations, including College of Pharmacists of BC standards.Maintain accurate records, documentation,
