OverviewWe are looking for a senior technology leader to head a team across multiple delivery domains and manage complex systems development activities supporting SGI and SGI CANADA. The role is permanent, full‑time, based in Regina with a hybrid working model.Key AccountabilitiesSolutions Development Delivery : Manage the development, delivery, support, and maintenance of an ecosystem of loosely coupled microservices, enterprise SaaS applications, and integrations. Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve corporate objectives and align with other systems practice areas. Champion change‑management activities and integrate long‑term plans with architecture roadmaps, ensuring SGI’s development and architecture standards are met. Contribute to processes, methodologies, and measurements that enable modern software‑development practices.Research and Development : Oversee the research and integration of emerging features and functionality in development tools and SaaS platforms into SGI’s technical solutions. Keep abreast of insurance software trends and industry best practices, lead the adoption of service‑oriented and cloud‑focused application development and integration practices, and work closely with Product Owners to balance technology and business priorities.People Leadership : Build a high‑performing workforce by leading human‑resource activities, developing succession plans, fostering a culture of leadership and accountability, mentoring and guiding team members, and driving performance through inclusive management.Partnership Management : Establish optimal vendor contracts, partner relationships, and support vendor delivery through procurement, implementation, and ongoing program and project delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical environments.Corporate Management : Align programs and policies with corporate strategy, manage risk, oversee budgets, ensure compliance with health, safety,
and emergency policies, enforce internal controls, and communicate controls to staff.Qualifications – Education & ExperienceA four‑year degree in Information Technology, Mathematics & Applied Science, Business, or a related field.
