About the RoleMott Electric is seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveConstruction Safety Officer (CSO)to support our field team in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient job sites. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Chargehands and field crews, this role is responsible for monitoring site conditions, supporting hazard identification, and ensuring adherence to company safety programs and WorkSafeBC requirements.The Construction Safety Officer plays a key role in promoting a robust safety culture by providing guidance, coaching, and practical solutions on active construction sites. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in construction environments who take a hands-on, collaborative approach to safety and are committed to continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesConduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety auditsMonitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company policiesLead and support toolbox talks, safety meetings,
