A well-established commercial general contractor is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to its growing team in Lethbridge.

This is an opportunity to join a respected builder with a strong track record of delivering commercial construction projects across Southern Alberta. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating site operations, driving schedules, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day site operations from project start-up through completion
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within quality expectations
- Maintain and enforce site safety programs and company policies
- Monitor project schedules and proactively resolve delays or site challenges
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conduct regular site meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate site documentation, reports, and daily logs
- Work closely with Project Managers to drive successful project delivery





Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial construction projects
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site management best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and site teams effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of Alberta construction safety requirements
- Experience managing schedules and coordinating multiple trades
- Proficiency with construction management software is considered an asset
