follow up on repairs and collaborate with other departments to deliver high level serviceTrain and coach team members to meet and exceed customer and business expectations by administering performance evaluationsProvide direction on financial implications of work orders including customer pay, warranties, claims, policies and redosCreate quotes and review and prepare invoices for internal and external customersManage work-in-progress (WIP) and contamination controlInvestigate and report accidents or near missesIdentify and resolve issues by initiating corrective actions on shop floor and for office proceduresEncourage continuous improvement for shop operations through regularly scheduled meetings and associated trainingAssist the PSM with the management of fixed assets in the shop and preparation for capital expendituresMust-haves for this role:Post Secondary Education with a minimum of 10 years experience in the electric power generation industry with a supervisory backgroundExpertise in the installation and maintenance of main propulsion engines, auxiliary gensets, control systems, switchgear, transfer switches and uninterruptible power supplyExperienced with the maintenance and overhaul of diesel and gas reciprocating enginesSolid understanding of the current power systems market place and customer baseExceptional communication,
