We are building state‐of‐the‐art data processing and search systems that significantly impact how our customers improve business performance, scalability, profitability, and market strategy.Your ImpactLead the end‐to‐end delivery of complex projects spanning multiple quarters, including the full software development cycle: requirements, design documents, development, testing, automation, and deployment.Set technical strategy and vision for the team, establishing processes and coding/design guidelines to maintain high engineering standards.Identify and resolve pre‐production system bottlenecks and production issues.Engage in design and code reviews, enhancing customer experience and preventing future problems.Ensure code maintainability, product diagnosability, and serviceability.Participate in rotating on‐call duties to diagnose and solve customer issues.Minimum Qualifications12+ years of software development industry experience, with a significant portion in a lead or architect capacity.5+ years of hands‐on experience designing, shipping, and supporting high‐performance, high‐throughput,



and low‐latency data processing components.Demonstrated experience shipping and supporting both cloud‐native services and on‐premises software solutions, using object‐oriented programming languages such as GoLang, Java, C/C++, or others.Experience leading the design and delivery of complex projects of 6 months or more, collaborating with cross‐functional teams.Proven ability to design, architect, and implement large‐scale distributed systems focused on reliability, scalability, and performance, with deep understanding of concepts such as consistency models, fault tolerance, and consensus algorithms.Preferred QualificationsProven track record of delivering high‐quality, maintainable code and quickly adapting to new technologies.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with expertise in Linux‐based tools and advanced diagnostic techniques.A robust advocate for operational excellence, driving best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response across the team.Compensation: The starting salary range for this position is $167,600.00 to $212,200.00, reflecting the projected range for new hires in U.S. and/or Canada, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits.Benefits: U.S. employees are offered medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long‐term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and eligibility for restricted stock units.#J-18808-Ljbffr
