As our growth creates new career opportunities, likely there is the right one for you!About the RoleTerus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is looking for a Senior Tester to join our team in Prince George, BC.The Senior Tester performs accurate materials testing during aggregate, asphalt, and concrete operations. They ensure all procedures and safety standards are followed, maintain testing equipment,
and communicate effectively with field teams.Main ResponsibilitiesConduct testing procedures during aggregate production and asphalt concrete pavement production and laydown and field placements of fresh concrete.Ensure accuracy of all testing performed.Display valuable communication with supervisor, crushing sub‑contractors and asphalt plant and paving foremen.Ensure compliance with the Company's procedures with sampling, testing and reporting of test results for materials being constructed.Ensure maintenance, reports of incidents, and reports of improper working condition of all equipment associated with lab testing activities.At all times, conduct business under his/her responsibility with professionalism and respect.Ensures that testing activities and operations are performed in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.Requirements/ExperienceGood communication skills (oral & written) and team playerAccuracy in reportingStrong mathematical skillsExcellent time management skillsComputer literateValid Driver's licenseCompensation DataThe anticipated hourly wage for this position is $35-$40 per hour.
