This vacancy is a full time, permanent opportunity. The Manager, TBS Accounting & Reporting, is responsible for the accuracy and timely delivery of The Beer Store (TBS) financial statements and shareholder reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role manages the accounting and financial close process (month end, quarter end and year end)



including reviewing and validating journal entries and reconciliations and resolving any issues. The Manager, TBS Accounting & Reporting leads the preparation of the annual financial statements, including accompanying note disclosures, as well as providing support for annual financial statement audits, internal audit engagements and other operational reviews. This role leads and mentors Senior Accountants and represents the TBS Accounting & Reporting team in cross functional projects and corporate initiatives.LocationOur Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON. We offer a hybrid work model with visits into the office a minimum of three times per week and on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function.What You 'll Be DoingOversee the month-end financial close for The Beer Store, coordinating with Retail, Logistics, and Corporate teams to ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within established timelinesEnsure all accounting and reporting is in accordance with TBS financial policies and processes and in compliance with internal controlsMaintain the integrity of the general ledger, chart of accounts and cost centres, approve changes to hierarchy and create new accounts as requiredReview and approve all journal entries posted to the general ledger, ensuring completeness and accuracyReview and manage fixed asset and right-of-use asset ledgers ensuring accuracy and completenessReview and approve balance sheet
