Our client, a up-to-date cloud accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their diverse team. You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping for Canadian small business clients, prepare financial statements, and handle tax returns. This role offers a chance to mentor offshore team members and contribute to evolving workflows by utilizing automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:



• Execute full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online or Xero • Prepare monthly financial close packages and reconciliations • Draft financial statements and adjust journal entries • Prepare T1, T2 tax returns and GST/HST filings • Identify automation opportunities to enhance workflows

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero • Familiarity with automation tools like Dext and Zapier • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
