The Manager will be part of a global team that has presence in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The Manager will be responsible for negotiating and managing various regional and global IT contracts and will represent Magna IT’s Vendor Management team in the region when working with internal customers and global partners. The Manager, will support, on a global basis, Magna IT, Magna Corporate, Group, and Divisional locations.Your ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the procurement lifecycle processIn-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practicesProven experience in vendor performance/relationship managementExperience with commercial and contracts negotiationsExperience with category spend analyticsResponsible for running RFx requestsWho We Are Looking ForPotential candidates for this position are IT procurement subject matter expertsExperience in negotiating and managing large complex contracts in the various IT categories, including hardware, software, services, and communication although primarily in softwarePrevious experience with complex software licensing/contracts/framework agreements and volume purchasing (10+ years preferred)A bachelor’s degree is typically required, in the absence of equivalent work experience.
