We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for overseeing that products are built in accordance with quality plans to achieve overall customer satisfaction. The Quality Assurance Specialist responds effectively to all internal inquiries and ensures issues are closed with appropriate tracking, actions and resolutions. for specified parts when required and corporate with procurement team for generating and following up any supplier defect which documented in SNCR process.Coordinate the Material Review Board (MRB) to ensure timely disposition and responsibility of quarantined non-conforming materialsConduct QMS internal and external auditsCapability to perform daily QA Auditor tasks and provide coverage during their absence.Oversee Document Control System to ensure documents are approved and published for operational reference and trainingDevelop, implement and conduct training to improve QA and QC knowledge, techniques and understanding of systems and standardsParticipate in and adhere to DSM’s safety policies and practicesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field.Advanced certifications in quality management are an asset (e.G., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer).Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.Internal audit certification (e.G., ISO9001 Lead Auditor) is an asset and highly desirable.Familiarity with processes and methodologies such as, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Design For Manufacturability (DFM), FMEA, APQP, and GR&R studiesAdvanced understanding of manufacturing statistics, such as process capability (Cp, Cpk, Pp, PpK), control charts, and DOE.Possesses strong interpersonal skills – ability to work with and develop relationships with internal teams and customersLean knowledge and training would be preferred (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen)Intermediate to Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely convey information and requirementsExcellent organizational skills – ability to multitask and effectively prioritize and perform tasks#J-18808-Ljbffr
